Daisy

I lost my one of my favourite hens today… Daisy our Light Sussex passed away sitting in her fav spot in the run, it was totally unexpected, she was 4 😦

We seem to be having a time of it lately with our pets, on saturday evening our Birman cat Hovis had a mild siezure, so we are monitoring him closely, he seems to be fine now and back to his normal self.

  1. OH CRAP SARAH!! I’M SO SORRY. THIS HAS TO BE HARD FOR YOU. I DIDN’T KNOW HOVIS HAD A SIEZURE AND HOPE IT WAS THE FIRST AND LAST. THERE’S MEDICATION TO HELP WITH THEM SHOULD IT EVER HAPPEN AGAIN. YOU HAVE BEEN HAVING A ROUGH TIME OF IT WITH PETS. ME TOO. WE LOST SADIE, OUR 18 YEAR OLD CAT WHO WAS BORN IN OUR BEDROOM, A MONTH AGO TO KIDNEY AND PANCREAS DISEASE. SHE DID LIVE A GOOD LONG LIFE BUT IT’S TOUGH NO MATTER HOW OLD THEY ARE, 4 OR 18. YOU KNOW MY THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU.

  2. Oh Lorraine, we do seem to be having a time of it right enough..

So sorry to hear about your wee cat sadie (hugs)

I came home from work tonight and my son told me that chunky had sicked up one of my socks, he is fine, but will need to watch him like a hawk, he used to eat them when he was a bit younger and poo them out the other end.. scary stuff..

I hope this is the end of our pet health issues for a while x

  3. Oh dear, you are having a difficult time. Sorry about the loss of your hen, and I hope your cat gets better soon. I wonder if anti-epilepsy medicine can be given to cats? Maybe ask your vet?
